Aillea is owned by Kathryn Murray Dickinson. Before the launch of Aillea, Dickinson worked as a business executive at a beauty company in New York City. Dickinson was a beauty junkie, so she wanted to develop better cosmetic products. The biggest problems in the beauty industry during that time were harmful ingredients in cosmetics. To make a stand, Dickinson replaced all of her favorite cosmetics with chemical-free beauty supplies. This is how Dickinson got the idea for the Aillea product line, which consists of safe cosmetics that lack sulfates and parabens.
